I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). I work with Prof. Dan Roth in the Cognitive Computation Group (CCG). I got my B.Sc. in Information Technology from the University of Sciences, HCMC, Vietnam, in 2003.
My research is in the development of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing methods to facilitate better access to unstructured information, such as text found on web pages. My goal is to incorporate deeper levels of natural language analysis into Information Extraction and Intelligent Search.
